Nineteen Group has announced the acquisition of PlantWorx – the UK’s largest working construction equipment showcase – from Construction Equipment Events Ltd.

PlantWorx is the UK’s premier live construction equipment event, attracting 10,000+ visitors from around the globe and offering an unparalleled industry gathering built around working demonstrations, innovation and procurement. The acquisition exemplifies Nineteen Group’s strategic vision to invest in the growth of specialist events in critical industry sectors while remaining true to their heritage and values, and is a natural fit in a portfolio which also includes the Commercial Vehicle Show.

The next edition of the biennial event, PlantWorx 2027, will take place on 22-24 June at the NEC Birmingham with Nick Davison as Event Director.

Bringing PlantWorx to the NEC – which has a proven track record in delivering successful outdoor, demo-based events – gives the ideal platform for the future, creating an indoor/outdoor concept with a wealth of overground digging demonstration space available.

The existing discount offer to Construction Equipment Association (CEA) members will be retained, alongside preferential rates for early bird bookings.
