Welcome Message!
Celebrations at the 2026 Half-Time Whistle
Our new Wimbledon HQ is officially open, and it’s a triumph. Amazing work from an amazing team, well done all. Our Hong Kong team has also settled into their new building. Nineteen colours everywhere, wherever you look. It was meant to be!
Our final H1 event, InstallerSHOW, was a huge success last month. Newly co-located with the Painting and Decorating Show and the Professional Woodworking Expo, it was bigger and better than ever. Fantastic work from everyone involved.
Now we look ahead to H2. August kicks off with MaximoWorld, followed by the Emergency Services Show and International Security Expo. No rest for these teams this summer!
A huge well done to everyone at Nineteen Group for a brilliant first half. Enjoy the summer while you can, because a packed H2 and 2027 planning are just around the corner.

Nineteen Updates
Our New Global HQ is Here!
A huge thank you
None of this would have come together without an incredible amount of work behind the scenes.
Huge thanks to Ruth Creely for leading the charge, and to the Supermovers: Aashka Patel, Emily Dutton, GG Attore, Jake Tyler, Luca Chalke, Peter Trolove, Rachel Wong and Sophie August, for all the planning, problem-solving, and heavy lifting (literally, in some cases) that made this move happen.
Nineteen’s homepage gets a GLOW-UP! 💅
Launching right alongside the opening of our brand-new global HQ, we’ve been busy working behind the scenes to create a new digital platform that represents our incredible OneNineteen spirit! 🙌
Gone are the days when we feel that slight awkward pang of embarrassment when a client says, “oh… we saw your homepage!”
Massive thanks to our partners over at KOTA Designs for helping us bring this vision to life!
So, go on… have a click, take a gander, and scroll.
Same URL, GORGEOUS new look! 👇
We’ve been
SHORTLISTED!
Fantastic news! 🎉
We’ve been shortlisted for the Merton Best Business Awards 2026! 🏆
We’re thrilled to see Nineteen Group on the shortlist, recognised for the wellbeing and benefits we offer our Nineteeners and our people-first culture. 🩵 Wimbledon has been home to some incredible growth for us, and it means a lot to be recognised right here in the community that’s supported us from the very beginning.
We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed until 8 October! 🤞

Back to the 80s, Nineteen-style!
Women in Exhibitions
Summer Party
Sparkles, Support and Summer Vibes ✨
On 30 June, some of Nineteen’s leading ladies sparkled under the disco ball for an evening at this year’s Women in Exhibitions Summer Party.
The atmosphere was electric, the conversations flowed, and the dancefloor was pumping! Above all, the evening was a great chance to bring together the events community!
Our very own Ruth Creely, member of the Women in Exhibitions UK Chapter Board, said, “The Women in Exhibitions Event was absolutely fantastic. The support from our incredible industry was amazing to see. From inspiring conversations to meeting so many new faces, the rooftop was packed and buzzing with energy!”
Until next year! 😉✨
Big Win at The SHE Awards 2026
Game, Set, Match for S&S Event Series! 🎾
Tennis fever skyrocketed at global HQ, as the Safety and Security Series treated some of our brilliant exhibitors to the complete Wimbledon experience. We’re talking Centre Court, strawberries and cream, and plenty of aces!
With courtside seats at some cracking matches, Team S&S took our incredible contacts out for some networking, discussing potential future opportunities while enjoying nail-biting matches, including Iga Świątek vs Karolína Plíšková and Arthur Fils vs Matteo Berrettini!
What a serve, Team S&S! 🎾

HOWZATTTT for a game of cricket! 🏏✨
Led by Captain Jemima Edwards, our Nineteeners stepped up to the crease for this year’s Sticky Wicket Tournament at the Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club, raising money for Lord’s Taverners, an organisation that uses cricket to help young people build confidence, unlock their potential, and create life-changing opportunities.
It was all sixes for Team Nineteen as they batted and bowled their way through the tournament, making it all the way to the semi-finals.
Well done, team! With not a cloud in the sky, it was a great day to catch up with friends and colleagues from across the industry, enjoy some friendly cricket, and raise money for an incredible cause. 🙌
Bringing the FIRE to the Padel Court! 🔥
The Safety & Security team swapped fire safety for forehands at the inaugural Fire Industry Association Padel Tournament at Surbiton Tennis Club, raising money for the Children’s Burns Trust.
In scorching conditions, Pete and Will took on 15 teams from across the fire industry, breezing through the group stages unbeaten and dropping just one game. While Will was still recovering (and rehydrating) from the Nineteen Summer Party the night before, Pete carried the early workload, dazzling with a catalogue of crisp volleys, inch-perfect lobs, disguised drop shots, and outrageous passing winners, much to the relief of his US college tennis scholarship partner.
Once Will finally woke up, the pair steamrolled through the quarter-finals and semi-finals without conceding a game, before he conveniently rediscovered his “former Under-14 Wimbledon champion” credentials to guide the duo to the title, earning bragging rights that are unlikely to disappear from the office anytime soon.
Team RTS Meet Sexy Fish 🐟👙
The Retail Technology Show team pulled out all the stops this month, treating 20 of their longest-standing supporters to a meal to remember at Sexy Fish in Mayfair.
Hosted by Matt, Michelle, and Katy, the event was a way of saying thank you to the clients who’ve backed RTS for the past five years. Serving great food and rubbing elbows with some even greater company, the afternoon provided a relaxed setting to strengthen relationships and share ideas.
From swapping stories to trading ideas on where retail tech is headed next, the event proved that some of the best industry connections happen over dinner (or Sexy Fish…?), not just on the exhibition floor.
Here’s to more moments like this as we build towards RTS 2027! 🥂
The Safety & Security Away Day!
Fresh off a record-breaking Safety & Security event in 2026 (58,241 industry professionals through the doors, up 4% year-on-year and the biggest edition yet 📈), the team swapped the boardroom for the New Forest to reflect on what made it a success and channel their creative juices to shape an even bigger 2027.
🧠 Strategy first. The away day kicked off with insightful team workshops, unpacking the wins of 2026 and mapping out bold plans for another blockbuster event next year.
Then it was off for a bit of team-building, including cycling through the New Forest, a spot of laser tag, and even a go at canoeing! Why? Because events are only as great as the teams fuelling the ideas behind them!
From breaking records in 2026 to planning what’s next, this away day proved that strategy is served best with a side of adventure! 🙌
Marketing meets MCM!
On Wednesday, Marketing sat down with MCM for a strategy alignment and reflection session, packed with insights to sharpen how we run campaigns. With 26 campaigns and 55,892 conversions since January, there was plenty to unpack!
A big part of the session was about how different audiences behave, and why campaign strategy can’t be one-size-fits-all. There were strong takeaways around platform mix, creative, timing, and geography, especially comparing UK, US, and APAC campaigns.
The session gave our budding marketeers plenty of food for thought, buzzing with fresh ideas and brilliant ways to optimise and refresh their campaigns! 🚀
Team Americas
Message from Mary
Summer greetings from the US team!
Things have settled into a nice rhythm since the World Cup wrapped, and we’re deep into planning mode for a busy October, when both The Lead and SubSummit take the stage.
Before then, we will have MaximoWorld which will take place in August in Nashville. MaximoWorld is where the IBM Maximo Asset Management community meets to share best practices and learn what the latest features are on the Maximo platform.
And a big one from this past week: SubSummit, The Lead, and ReliabilityWeb officially came together under Nineteen Americas, alongside the launch of our new benefits program. More details to come soon, but for now, we’re all one team under the Nineteen umbrella. 🎉

Team Hong Kong
Making moves over in Hong Kong!
Big news! Our Hong Kong office has officially moved! 📦
Following on from the recent move of our global HQ, Team Hong Kong has followed suit and found a new home too.
The transition went off without a hitch, and the team has already settled into their fresh new space with brilliant energy. It’s more than just a new address. It’s a refreshed setting built for collaboration, creativity, and the next chapter of growth for the team out there.
Here’s to new beginnings, new views, and even better ideas ahead.
Welcome to your new home, Team Hong Kong! 🥂
Behind the Scenes:
Melbourne Build Team
While there’s plenty of buzz around new spaces, we also want to shine a light on the team making the magic happen on the ground.
Huge shoutout to our Melbourne build team, who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the show together. Their dedication and craftsmanship are clear in every bit of progress being made, and their hard work continues to be a driving force behind the project.
We’re proud of what this team is achieving – thank you for everything you do! 👏

Chloe Stops By!
Team Hong Kong is thrilled to welcome Chloe Robinson to the office this week! 🎉
Her visit couldn’t come at a better time, as the team settles into their new home and builds on the momentum across the business. As ever, the team rolled out the red carpet and gave Chloe a warm Hong Kong welcome, despite the wet weather. From team meetings, strategy sessions, in-person connections, and of course, dim sum, this week has had it all!

Congratulations
to Michael and family!
We’re absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news. Michael Wong has welcomed a beautiful addition to his family and #TeamNineteen. Baby Maxwell has arrived!
Huge congratulations to Michael and his growing family on this exciting new chapter. We hope these early days are filled with love, laughter, and (hopefully) a little sleep along the way.
From all of us at Nineteen, welcome to the world, Maxwell! 🩵
Team Oliver Kinross
USA Build on the Move.
Our BUILD USA portfolio hit the road, as Kam attended the BuiltWorlds Construction Tech Conference in Chicago from 8–9 July – our first major event since partnering with BuiltWorlds.
The conference proved to be a brilliant platform for connecting with construction technology leaders, allowing the team to shine a spotlight on what’s coming to Chicago Build, New York Build, and Miami Build.
Battersea Half?
Completed it, mate.
Huge congratulations to Theo and Emily Dutton, who took on the Battersea Half Marathon – and smashed it, despite the heat and sunshine doing their best to slow them down!
A brilliant effort from both of them. 🙌
Team Singapore
We’re a Finalist at the Singapore MICE Awards!
We’re proud to share that Safety & Security Asia 2025 has been shortlisted as a Finalist for “Debut Event of the Year”!
This recognition reflects our innovation, quality, and execution, and the strong support we’ve had from the industry along the way. We’re honoured to stand alongside some of Singapore’s leading MICE events.
The journey has taught us that every participant is a winner, and every milestone is a chance to learn and improve. And this is just the beginning: we’re committed to delivering even better events ahead. 🚀
Representing
Women in the Industry.
On 6 July, Ariel and Juulia represented Nineteen at the Unreal Engine Singapore Community Meetup, joining nearly 80 creatives, developers, and students for a Women in Games discussion on career pathways and inclusivity. Ariel also reconnected with the Institute of Technical Education’s Course Director, laying the groundwork for future collaboration and a potential exhibitor invite for Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd.
Meanwhile, Valerie flew the flag at the Women in Security Gathering and The Albatross File exhibition on 23 July, networking with Singapore University of Social Science students, graduates, and established players like Surbana Jurong. She struck up valuable conversations with SGSecure, then sat down with Ping Ping for a coffee session to strategise collaborative ideas and projects.
Building Bridges with BISA.
Big Names, Bigger Convos.
The event featured a standout panel discussion with technology principals from Milestone Systems, Seagate, Axis Communications, Blu5, and SenSen Networks, sharing insights on the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the industry.
The evening wrapped up with networking over tapas and refreshments, leaving attendees with meaningful connections and practical takeaways to bring back to their teams.
A big win for D-Ron, and an even bigger one for the partnerships we’re building. 🤝
Team TPA
Say HELLO to Payments Week! 🎉
This month, we officially unveiled Payments Week: our bold new initiative bringing the entire payments ecosystem together for five days of collaboration, innovation, and industry-leading events.
Team TPA was pleased to announce the news to more than 100 members, and the response was overwhelmingly positive as we shared our vision for the UK’s defining week for the global payments industry.
Policy. Thought leadership. Networking. Exhibitions. Community events. All under one banner. Payments Week will give members, partners, and the wider industry even greater opportunities to connect, influence, and grow.
Roll on 2027. We can’t wait to bring this ambitious vision to life.
Welcoming Our July Starters.
July has been a month of growth for The Payments Association, and we’re delighted to welcome five fantastic new colleagues.
Archie Bagnall and Mary Henry both joined us from within Nineteen. Archie moves to the sponsorship side of our PAY360 sales team as a Sales Executive, while Mary joins Marketing, working across PAY360 and Payments Week.
Ryan Freymann strengthens our events sales team as Senior Business Development Manager, focusing on sponsorship for PAY360 and MT360.
Our Membership New Business team has grown, too. Mika Kenny joins as Senior Business Development Manager, and Sam Irving as Senior Business Development Executive. Together, they’ll help even more organisations discover the value of joining The Payments Association.
A warm welcome to Archie, Mary, Ryan, Mika, and Sam. We’re thrilled to have you all on board! 🎉
TPA Takes on DEI.
This week, the team got schooled in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by the brilliant (and brilliantly funny!) Kerry from Laughology, who proved you can tackle serious topics without taking yourself too seriously.
Through a series of interactive exercises, we went digging into our own blind spots: affinity bias, confirmation bias, systemic bias, and insider-outsider dynamics. Turns out we all have a favourite, and it’s not always a good look. We explored how these sneaky biases can creep into recruitment, promotions, decision-making, and everyday collaboration.
Together, we cooked up some practical fixes: rotating interview panels, encouraging diverse perspectives, strengthening onboarding, introducing buddy systems, and building more transparent processes. No jargon overload, just solutions that actually stick.
Kerry’s energetic approach sparked great discussions, challenged assumptions, and left us with practical actions to help build an even more inclusive workplace.
Sunshine, Suspense & Teamwork on the Thames.
In other news.
Phoebe ties the knot!
After months of planning (we imagine her expertise in Operations and event planning definitely came in handy!), Phoebe said “I do” and made it official. From the whole of #TeamNineteen, we couldn’t be happier for you.
Here’s wishing you and your husband a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures together as you start this next chapter.
Cheers to the happy couple! 🥂
